(but it no longer prints) When the 1400 came out, I was excited to see the pictures had alot of clarity. This is what I needed for printing 12x12 scrapbook layouts and pictures. But I soon learned it cost alot for the ink. Needless to say, I didn't print alot of 12x12's. I switched to the 8x8 size layouts. But with the economy I'm finding that too expensive. So, needing to replace my all in one, I'm looking for another one that is reasonable on ink with great picture printing. It is an ink hog t the tune of $200/month+ ink costs. Altho Epson was sympathetic to the problem and gave me a full refund (Office Depot would not even talk to me...a lesson learned. I assume Canon will release some printers at Photokina. I just heard some good specs for the EOS 5D and a rumoured formal announcement date of Sept. 17th.
